Let's Take A Vacation

A pretty neutral pink: Vacation Time

Pretty! I call it neutral just for the simple fact that it is subtle. So maybe I should stop calling certain pinks neutral..hmm..and more subtle.
It kinda looks like an "old school" pink if I can say that. Like, a color an elderly person would wear. But I promise it is so pretty in person!

Let's Meet

I have reviewed this beautiful color once before in a previous post. It is just a beautiful color and it stands out on my dark skin, which is something I love. It looks especially good when typing on a black keyboard. Instead of three coats [as previously], I used two coats. It dried pretty fast and the application was tremendous. I also talked about how it shimmered, but I didn't quite talk about the color. It is more of a goldish color than yellow. This can be good considering some people are scared of the actual color yellow on skin.
I did two takes. One with minimum lighting and then another with lighting. Both inside pictures.

Happy Valentines!

This is such a pretty red! It's not too bright and not too dark. Very elegant. This is Sinful Colors GoGo Girl. It applied very nice. Unfortunately, since my nails aren't so healthy right now they do not look the best.

Ridge FingerNails

I hate when my nails cannot be as pretty as they should be because of ridged nails.
Ugly right? Ugh! ..Sinful Colors has a Ridge Filler for about $4.
Anyway! I got to look fabulous for tomorrow so look for a swatch between tonight and tomorrow! Smooches :)

The "IT" Shade

A shade that I have been craving for is navy!
I see my peers wear it all the time and I just crave it!
Shade is a perfect color for the summer due to the whole "sailor" look. It is also a good winter color as well though.
Some pretty navy?

Essie Spring Collection

Sorry for the lack of post. I have been quite busy. On top of that, I haven't had anything to post. My nails are still naked! :( That will probably change today. The nail polish I have been wearing has already been reviewed, which is another reason why I haven't done any swatches. Anyway, as I digress...
Essie Spring Collection..what can I say??
I love Essie because most of their polishes are neutral/pastel type colors. And well...that is right up my alley! I love Essie's choses of colors! Simply put..
Their Spring Collection is called French Affair
Their choice of color can be applied on any skin tone.

  • Kisses & Bisses - ivory pearled shade

  • Topless & Barefoot - nude shade

  • Sand Tropez - taupe shade

  • Azure - which is a cool blue shade

  • Nice is Nice - lavender coloration

  • French Affair - soft pink shade
